Hand painted dial case
Mainly, in the 1950s, when sailors had free time, the especially gifted ones were occupying themselves with painting of dial cases. Those were usually the Victory, Kama, and Mayak design series (approximately in the 50s and 60s). The theme was generally marine. A girl, a seagull, a ship, etc. Nowadays these watches are rather rare, and the hand paintings never replicate. You can see the uniqueness of each of the dial cases for yourself!
